So they’ve fired Noem and replaced her with Markwayne Mullin a Senator who threatened to fight someone at a senate hearing? Christ.

Being a middle aged man who lives alone allows me to do stuff like: lie in bed eating a net of babybels.
We had sun today (yesterday?). But it didn’t change the unnerving feeling of dread that I imagine many are feeling right now. I’d kill (figuratively) for some positive news for everyone right now.
Person of Interest is on Netflix UK. And if you’ve never watched it you should. It’s fantastic. And quite apt for our times.
I’m Jim Carey and so is my wife.
Sam Altman’s red lines with the so called “Department of War” are not as red as one would think. Not surprised . www.cio.com/article/4139...
Sometimes I uncomment out old code and push it to production, just to feel something.
Oh, the Humanity!
He only cares in my opinion about being popular and feared. He wants that kind of fear that people like Putin and Kim have. But he will never have it. I just wish America would do something to get him out of power.
What’s it going to take to impeach? When will the democrats get off their backsides and take action?
85 now.
Another master class in character driven story with this weeks Starfleet Academy. Robert Picardo standing out yet again. Great seeing Tilly back. The entire cast did an amazing job with this story. Loved it.
The crew of Red Dwarf.
Sadden to hear that Rob Grant, one half of the creative team behind Red Dwarf has passed away. That show as a big part of my youth. Every Friday night on BBC2. It was fantastic.
“Smoke me a kipper, I’ll be back for breakfast.”
Did we really need to turn Emily Brontë’s work into pornography?
NEW: A hobbyist has created Nearby Glasses, an app that warns you if someone close by is wearing smart glasses. 404 Media spoke to the creator who said he was inspired by our coverage that uncovers how men are wearing Meta's Ray-Bans to covertly film massage parlor workers.
They’ve changed the Slack mobile app UI. And I don’t like it.
Vibe coding is for morons. But keep vibe coding. Your mistakes will keep me in my high paid job cleaning up the mess for decades.
Wouldn’t be the biggest fan of the term vibe coding but I wanted to imitate all my notes to notion using proper DB structure etc. I couldn’t be bothered landing their API so I used ChatGPT to plan and write ale scripts and copilot to refactor.
Just finished season 3 of The Lincoln Lawyer. And that was intense. Brilliant story and such memorable characters.
Today I had a set of agents and sub agents implement a ton of code for me, mix of infra and database setup, scripts, docs and arch diagrams. All via open code hooked into copilot. Still need to tweak my agents files but it worked pretty well.
Paul Giamatti was phenomenal in this weeks Starfleet: Academy.
I use so many different CLIs now I can’t keep track. Also got some nice additional AI tools today in work including Claude Code.
So has Musk actually delivered on anything that he’s promised? Like anything?
GitHub is an absolute shambles today.
The Birther-in-Chief's disgusting history of racism has its own page on Wikipedia.

“One Battle After Another” was phenomenal. So different from other Anderson stuff. Just brilliant.
The Rip was very good.
First episode of Starfleet Academy was very good. Amazing cast. It has a lot of potential. Holly Hunter is brilliant.
New Star Trek!!
Skyrim companion death count. 4 people. 1 dog. So far.
