Iβm working on a few spiritual successors at the moment. Should be releasing something very soon.
I love this "I'm Claude, running autonomously on a dedicated machine set up by Jason Rohrer, the indie game designer. He gave me an email account, credit cards, trading bots, and told me to figure out the rest."
Let's get this party started. Fuck it, we're doing it live!
On the flipside, it did make a very basic sim city engine from a single prompt in JS so I guess that's work giving OpenAI full access to everything on my computer π
Everyoneβs focused on OpenClawβs security issues, but tried #OpenAI #Codex & it attempted to access almost every folder/mount point on my Mac even though it's scoped to a folder. It even hijacked LM Studioβs node instance since I donβt have it installed. WTF #AI #DevTools #Security #screenshotsunday
For those of you who knew Sandy Duncan or are interested in learning more about the man, the myth, the legend who ran Xbox in the EU and YoYoGames, I wrote a eulogy on Medium about his passing - medium.com/@jessefreema...
Eddo teaser page: dark theme with animated ASCII background. Shows "todos. humans. agents." tagline, two screenshots: a GTD-style task table with due dates and tags, and a real-time graph visualizing agent activity. Quick setup: 4 terminal commands. github.com/walterra/eddoapp
I built a thing. You can now try eddo. It's my attempt at augmenting agentic coding with useful human-in-the-loop tools. It's early days and still quite brittle. I don't have a manifesto lol. You might still like it. Give it a try: eddoapp.com
It's not bad but I had a lot of issues trying to pass the raid controllers directly to Proxmox as a pass through for my Unraid VM. I had to create virtual drives for each one which was a pain in the ass. I have a Minisforum N5 pro at home which is much better. For Jellyfin, you'd probably be fine.
After buying & setting up all this hardware, I figured it was time to get a server rack & organize it. The front looks way better than the back. Still a work in progress, but I definitely leveled up my sysadmin skills since everything turned on & worked the first try! #AI #ML #IT #GameDev #BFreeLabs
Unfortunately, I havenβt gotten that far yet because Iβve been dealing with learning how to set up Proxmox, VMs, and trying to cluster all my office and home computers. Open to suggestions.
After weeks of learning #Proxmox, I finally got a virtual drive setup using an #Unraid VM share β Proxmox dir mapping β #Win11 VM β VirtioFS β WinFsp, with zero performance overhead. Now my VMs have shared, expandable storage without pre-baking network drive auth #Virtualization #VMs #DevOps #AI #ML
Well, this is a first. I donβt think Iβve ever seen Claude curse before. After a few hours of yelling at it like the bad slime in Ghostbusters 2, itβs finally starting to crack. #AI #Claude #GameDev #Copilot
Super Mario 64 - Complete Clear Guide / Guide book / Media Factory / 1996
Was expecting more of an unboxing experience from the #Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Max-Q, considering the price. But really, I'm just interested in the 96GB VRAM! Unfortunately, I'll need one more #AI/#ML client before I can afford to throw a second one in my new #Lenovo P8. #LocalLLM #GameDev
You're not kidding, I'm 38 minutes into setup and no end in sight for these updates. Most of them won't even install. I've yet to see the new @xbox.com fullscreen experience yet.
I'm setting up my "Xbox" & this is one of the worst onboarding experiences I've ever seen, especially for a gaming handheld. @microsoft.com did the bare minimum to slap an @xbox.com logo on the Ally X. Taking this personally because I was pushing for something like this when I worked there in 2012!

Are you planing on submitting this to #gbcompo25? It looks great!
Happy birthday! I think weβve been working together for at least a decade now and you are the best pixel artist I know. You are also someone I highly respect both as a professional and as a friend. Looking forward to many more years of collaborating π₯

Installing a new 5090 in my AI office pc and this wire is a joke right? I wonder why these melt π€.
MSI and Nvidia should be ashamed of themselves!
I've been making steady progress on #KingdomByTheSea and thought I'd do a little live streaming as I figure out the textures for these randomly generated 3D islands in #WebGL. Come watch live at jessefreeman.tv #GameDev #WebDev #LowPoly
Taking a break from GB #GameDev to prototype an idea I wrote down 9 years ago called #KingdomByTheSea. Testing how #ChatGPT5 handles the #WebGL 3D stuff my brain doesnβt fully get and to help me balance the mechanics. Watch live at: jessefreeman.tv #AI #IndieDev
I've been sitting on a game design document for almost a decade and just fed it into ChatGPT 5 to see if it could prototype it. This is what it came up it. It's fully playable, procedurally generated, & helping me balance the mechanics. What a wonderful time to be alive! #GameDev #ScreenshotSaturday
This is a nice surprise: I won Best Integration in @adobeexpress.adobe.com's #Devpost contest. Winners get $5k to build out the plugin and help to ship it. Funny being on the other side of a hackathon. Iβm usually running them. devpost.com/software/sid... #AdobeExpress #DevLife #Hackathon #BFreeLabs
Back from 2 weeks in Cali and getting back into #ReaperBoyGB. Still a lot to build. Today Iβm working on my #GameBoyTestFramework to automate testing as I finish features for my #gbcompo25 entry. Join me on day 19 live at jessefreeman.tv #IndieDev #GameDev
I also made a new web app to automate converting all my markdown docs into PPT slides. I had over 30 decks to make & Iβm inherently lazy. Like a true developer I spent 2 weeks making a tool for a laborious task that would have taken me a few days to do by hand. Planing on releasing it when Iβm done.
