Mark Carney is just another neoliberal who will sell out Canada and continue the Canadian subjugation of QuΓ©bec. #MarkCarney #polcan #polqc #canada
I look forward to your continued support on these amendments.
In the meantime, this race is bigger than myself. Please join me in supporting Caitlin Rollo for First Vice Chair.
I am glad that I was able to talk to many of you about the structural reforms our party needs. I will continue having these important conversations leading up to March 15 and also leading up to the Rules Committee amendment process later this year.
She will unify our party and be a voice for the grassroots because SHE IS grassroots. Her background in organizing at the NEA make her ready to lead our party and to organize us to win the next fight.
Caitlin is the leader our party needs in this moment. She is a much better candidate for this role than I am. Her experience within our party and her experience at the NEA make her uniquely qualified for the position.
I would like to announce my withdrawal from the race for First Vice Chair. This moment is too important for us to continue with failed leadership. That is why I am withdrawing and supporting Caitlin Rollo. We canβt risk a three way race for such an important role. #NHpolitics
I need your help in reforming the New Hampshire Democratic Party. Call your local representatives and party leaders and demand change! tonylabranche.com/join #NHpolitics
I start speaking at 1:03:16
Yesterday, the NHDP hosted a candidate forum for those running for officer positions. Sharing the link here for all interested in watching: #NHpolitics drive.google.com/file/d/1q_6s...
What is clear to me tonight is that after this NHDP officer election, Ray Buckley will force through an amendment to the NHDP Constitution to make it harder for his opponents to run against him: He canβt take the heat. #nhpolitics
My opponent @maurasullivan.bsky.social is just another Buckley loyalist who has enabled him at every step of the way. Our party deserves better than authoritarian tactics and backroom dealings. Instead, we should embody our name: DEMOCRATIC Party. Join me in clearing house. #NHpolitics
Many have asked, what specific reforms would I want to see within the New Hampshire Democratic Party? Here I have attached a thread of the amendments I have put forward: #NHPolitics
Opening up membership to the Rules Committee to everyday party members:
As written, the constitution restricts membership to only State Committee members. This combined with the fact that there is no way for ordinary party members to be on the State Committee is problematic.
Bringing in the youth by giving more of them a place at our conventions (High School Dems):
Let us train the future leaders of our party and more effectively represent the younger generations.
Bringing in the youth by giving more of them a place at our conventions (College Dems):
Let us train the future leaders of our party and more effectively represent the younger generations.
Eliminating positions on the State Committee appointed by the Chair of the party:
It makes no sense and is blatantly undemocratic that the Chair should be able to appoint the very people who elect the position of Chair.
Opening up membership to the State Committee to a wider selection of Municipal and County officials:
Additionally, the party chair should not be able to appoint the very people who elect the position of Chair.
Implementing secret ballots in Officer elections:
Who would have known the Democratic Party doesn't allow secret ballots in the name of "Voter Integrity"? To clarify- this was used as a tool to intimidate people to vote for Ray Buckley back in 2021
Adopting Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) in Officer Elections:
RCV will help prevent vote splitting and allow us to find a consensus leader.
Opening up the Executive Committee to everyday party members:
Again, there is no way for an ordinary party member or even State Committee member to be elected to the Executive Committee.
Opening up membership to the State Committee to everyday party members:
Currently, there is no way for an ordinary party member or even convention delegate to be elected to the State Committee. Currently, it is made up of ex-officio members and former elected and party officials.
Electing State Party Convention Delegates:
By electing our Delegates via primary we are opening up the electorate to those who are unable to attend local organizational caucuses and we get a more accurate reflection of our party base.

Buckley would rather let a young openly gay member of his House Caucus out to dry instead of being the leader he was elected to be. My story is only one of many. Buckley is more concerned with his own power than he is with the party or its members. #NHpolitics
