I was talking to one doctor, and they straight up told me they don't work with any insurance because they want to charge more. Like if you were selling handbags, sure, charge whatever you want, but this is medicine. I'm really fortunate, so I can play ball, but many people can't
The medical bills won't be as bad as I thought. So that's a relief. It's still going to hurt, but I can shoulder the cost without getting a loan. Honestly, though, the amount doctors charge is unconscionable
