a lot of people do not view women as individuals with complex thoughts and their own lived experiences, just as a generic representation of their demographic filtered through that person's own biases. like being surprised when a woman plays anything but "cozy" lifesim games
premiering soon! waiting room: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yy0l...

the biggest samples are my frozen audio tracks which i can't get rid of anyway, so most of the dupes range from >1MB for the one shots to 20MB at most for loops and atmosphere. the biggest consequence is clutter in the ableton browser since i like to include project files in global search
google docs has always been great on the Mac, the iPad apps for the whole google suite are not great at all especially when compared to their desktop counterparts. some people even use the web versions of them just to get around it
a small price to pay to not have a situation where "oh! i wanna revive this old demo! fuck!!! i can't relocate the samples!!!!!" happens ever again
i intentionally copy all the samples used in a project to the project folder if it's a finished and released song so i never have to worry about missing samples in the future, a common issue for my older work (always shit like kick.wav, how am i supposed to find that...)
my friend is in uni and wants a MacBook Neo because google docs is miserable on the iPad they use primarily for written notes, and it’s not lost on me that google very likely nerfed google docs on iPad so it wouldn’t compete with chromebooks at that sub-$500 price range

oh my days it's so cute 🥹
i turned off bluesky's "Warn" default for nsfw images, but now i can't immediately see when there's an image on my feed that might be sexy, AND i can't enjoy revealing it with the Show button. perhaps this is a downgrade...
i dropped my (case-less) phone onto the sidewalk because i was trying to photograph a chicken
"ugh i take too longgggg" i work a full time job and take care of my dad it's a miracle i finish any music anymore
i chastised myself after realizing a "new" song i want to release soon was written in 2022, and immediately afterwards found a skrillex leak from 2017 that very distinctly contains the foundations of a song he released in 2025

it's fine, we said activities would resume in 2026, we have 10 more months to keep that promise
TURBOTAX AGENT: Looks like you accidentally uploaded an MP3 file to the document portal. Oh, you made this? That explains your income situation! Hahaha. Sorry

mixing music is literally just advanced volume control. instruments have to be a certain volume relative to each other. compression is making everything loud together. when you EQ something you're just changing how loud a specific frequency is. they've played us all for fools
