Ok yeah. that is discriminination, what you should do if you haven't already, Request an internal review or appeal of the decision, citing the university's duty to accommodate, which only ends at "undue hardship" (e.g., severe financial or operational burden),
Ok, so im gonna try not to sound like a know-it-all, cause i have zero idea if your aware of this, but if the refusal is based solely on not them not believing you have a chronic illness, then it is likely discriminatory....
