After months of hard work, we have finally passed the #PABudget, making historic investments in education, addressing food insecurity & economic development, especially in Chester County. I'll continue to fight to build on these investments so that all can have a brighter future.
We hope to recognize and support individuals on their path to recovery and raise awareness with the passage of this resolution.

This week, my resolution with Rep. Doyle Heffley passed the House! House Resolution 290 designates September 2025 as “National Recovery Month” in Pennsylvania.
Every lost life is a tragedy, and behind each statistic is a loved one who deserves hope and help.

Through this tragedy, one thing is clear, these brave officers are heroes, as are all first responders. We must honor their memory, not just with words, but with productive action in Harrisburg to improve their safety, as well as the safety of all Pennsylvanians.
I was heartbroken to hear about the deaths of three officers and two that were wounded in North Codorus Township in York County.

This unnecessary, tragic loss of life and attack on our law enforcement officers is the reality they have to face every day.
It’s that time of year again! As the weather gets colder, protect yourself from the flu and COVID-19. There are several community clinics across the district that offer both vaccines for booking.

September marks International Underground Railroad Month in PA.
Freedom seekers traveled throughout the state via the Underground Railroad in the 19th century. This month, we're honoring the courage and resilience of those who risked everything for freedom.
As our kids head back to school, I want to remind everyone about the importance of bus safety. Always be alert around school buses—whether you're driving or walking.
Our children’s safety is top priority. Let’s work together to ensure a safe and successful school year!
It’s not about buses and trains; it’s about people and jobs. That’s why I just voted to protect and create jobs in Southeastern PA, repair and replace bridges and roads everywhere, and keep our economy moving. It’s time to tell the Senate to get back to work!

The House already passed SEPTA funding four times, and we're about to do it again, while Senate Republicans skipped town.
Let’s keep our transit lines running. Tell the Senate to take action for public transit here: pahouse.com/TakeAction?a...

I joined Chester County House Democrats this week to speak out on SEPTA’s urgent funding crisis. With just 16 days until cuts and fare hikes, our Senators must act NOW. Without funding, we risk losing billions in economic activity, jobs, and safe, reliable transit.

Too many forget what it’s like to rely on public transit. I haven’t. It’s time the #PaSenate acts. Let’s #FundMassTransit—not just for convenience, but for survival. Call your senator. www.RepDanWilliams.com
Without this vital funding, cuts to services and large rate increases are set to take place on Aug. 24- yet this crucial legislation has sat in the Senate Transportation Committee for six weeks with NO consideration.
Enough is enough, let's fund SEPTA now!

Join me and my PA House Democratic colleagues for a SEPTA Press Conference on Thursday, August 7, at 11:00 am, at SEPTA West Chester Transit Center.
My colleagues and I passed legislation weeks ago to give SEPTA and public transit across PA the funding it needs.

The Underground Railroad played a crucial role in African American history in Pennsylvania. Recognizing September 2025 as “International Underground Railroad Month” honors the bravery of freedom seekers and abolitionists, highlighting their enduring impact on freedom and equality.
I'd like to thank my colleagues in the House and Senate for their crucial feedback and bi-partisan support and Gov. Shapiro for his approval and signature.

My bill to improve PA's substance use programs was signed into law by Gov. Shapiro last night!
It will enhance the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs' annual report to ensure the state meets its benchmarks.
I’ve had a growing number of constituents share their stories about theft of their SNAP benefits through skimming schemes. Working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle, my legislation will address this concern.

Every child in Pennsylvania deserves to have a high-quality education that tailors to their needs. That’s why I was proud to vote in favor of HB1500, which successfully passed the House.
On this day, let’s all take a moment to remember the heroic sacrifices made on June 6, 1944. While you go about your day, remember the bravery of our veterans and preserve their legacy of freedom.
Congratulations to the class of 2025! 🎓🎉
Your hard work and dedication have paid off! As you step into life's next chapter, remember that your potential is limitless.
I'm wishing each and every one of you success and happiness in your future endeavors!

A huge thank you to Caln Township Police Department and Senator Katie Muth and her staff for their hard work helping to make our License Plate Replacement Clinic a huge success! I look forward to our offices working together in the future to provide more services to our communities.
I had the pleasure of visiting with a class at Caln Elementary School to discuss what a state representative does, how our government works, and what we as elected officials do for them. After hearing from these bright students, I’m encouraged for our future!
Our nation, our commonwealth would not exist if not for the sacrifices of our veterans. I’m proud of passing legislation that would increase pensions for vets that have lost sight or mobility. While only a modest increase, from $150 to $200 a month, every little bit helps! youtu.be/DOZEV-GWMKo

My legislation that recently passed the House would give local governments the power to deny a permit to a corporation that has delinquencies in the municipality.
Every struggling community in Pennsylvania wants to fight blight and see their neighborhoods revitalized. That revitalization includes ensuring there are safe, quality buildings owned by a reliable tax base.
