It’s a dreich morning in Glasgow but even then there is very visibly a sort of additional haar of smoke over the centre.

You could smell the smoke in our close this morning, never mind by the time you got out on the street.

CCA closing, everyone getting kicked out Tramway, M8 repairs an absolute mess, god knows what’s going on with the art school, the ABC site just… sitting there, and now Central being in whatever state it turns out to be in. Even as a Glasgow fundamentalist it’s hard to be optimistic about the city.

Fucking hell.

This is fucking devastating. We can’t lose Central, of all things. Why does this seem to happen to us more than anywhere else?

Not sure if it’s totally clear yet but yeah it’s the Union St side of Central.

Could Glasgow just not go on fire for a bit.
