definitely a concern with 9 haha
game felt very much like a "greatest hits" of aesthetics and design styles throughout the series. I imagine any resident evil 10 would have to hit the reinventive reset button like again like 4 and 7 did, lest it retread even more.
re9 very good but weird, not totally sure how I feel about it yet. curious to see if this is as enjoyable to replay as the others, but it doesn't *seem* like there's as much room for run optimization as some of the others, and it didn't feel terrible difficult to begin with.

(9 is quite good so far, seems like it will be my favorite of the newer non remake entries)
