I hope you can understand my personal boundaries on this matter.

To be honest, regarding crowdfunding, the responsibility that comes with money would be a significant mental burden for me. I've experienced it once before and it was very painful. For these reasons, I’m not comfortable moving forward with the crowdfunding proposal.

Thank you so much for putting so much thought into making my exhibition happen. Regarding the costs over the three years, since I maintain a modest lifestyle as an artist, about ten thousand dollars should suffice. I don't anticipate needing any additional guarantees concerning the exhibition.

Honestly, I believe it would be far more meaningful than exhibiting in an art gallery, and anticipating that many people would be delighted brings me joy. Considering such hopes is truly exciting.

Regarding the optimal time for exhibiting works, it would undoubtedly be during warmer months when transportation is unimpeded. And if I could exhibit my works at the Farley Convention, it would be a tremendous honor.

The plan would likely involve creating new works and producing pieces to cover living expenses over the next few years leading up to the exhibition.

Another potential issue is the number of pieces I currently own and store. Most works featured in my art book have been sold, are difficult to exhibit due to deterioration over time, or have been discarded due to storage constraints, leaving only a few in my possession.

Regarding the exhibition space, I don't think it needs to be that large. Perhaps 100 square meters would suffice. Since buildings in Japan are generally compact, my sense of space might differ from yours.

I must admit I'm genuinely surprised that the amount you had in mind is so much larger. However, given recent fuel costs and rising prices, it might indeed approach a hundred thousand dollars.

To obtain such funding, I would need to build a significant track record here in Japan. However, for smaller artworks, costs can be kept down, so the possibility of exhibiting them is higher. Sorry for the long message. Thank you for reading.

Transporting large artworks overseas as an individual is financially very difficult. It would likely cost tens of thousands of dollars in total. In most cases, this is done through grants from large art organizations or corporations.

Additionally, considerations must be made for the size of the loading dock, parking space for trucks, and storage for packing materials. Regarding the exhibition duration, one to two weeks is typical in Japan.

Regarding the number of pieces and required space, the number of works is determined by the available area. While various scenarios are possible, three-dimensional works generally require a larger space. At a minimum, an area large enough to accommodate about 20 people would be necessary.

Because these are high-value artworks, taxes and shipping insurance will also be expensive. Furthermore, if the works remain unsold, I would also incur the return shipping costs.

My works range in size from palm-sized to life-sized. Furthermore, the larger pieces cannot be disassembled. As they are fragile, shipping must be handled by specialized art transporters, which will likely cost several times the usual rate.

I apologize if there are any awkward sentences, as I'm writing using translation software. Thank you for your proposal regarding an exhibition. However, this is a very challenging task overall.
