No state should do runoff elections. They are a complete waste of money and undemocratic due to the massive drop-off in voters in runoff elections. If Texas had Final 5 voting, Talarico, Crockett, Cornyn, Paxton, and Hunt would progress to a ranked choice election in Nov. No runoffs needed. Ever.
