Angel Hernandez made the call "helicopter."
I do appreciate getting a weird 77 degree day in the first week of March so that I can actually test the A/C and make sure everything's working properly long before it's actually needed.
Up on @fangraphs.com, I talked a bit about the Tigers and why they should start Kevin McGonigle in the majors.

Up on @fangraphs.com I made my case for Kevin McGonigle being the shortstop from day one.

By me for @theathletic.com on special inserts and test issues to collect, at various price points. www.nytimes.com/athletic/708...
I hope Kiryu does get a happy ending. And not the fakeout they like to do where someone finally gets what they want and then they immediately kill that person off five minutes later.
I'm up to starting Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth, having just finished The Man Who Erased His Name. The developer *really* has no mercy for its protagonists, and every bit of their happiness seems to be incredibly fleeting.
I mean WWE nearly contemporaneously had Reverend Slick/Jive Soul Bro and I'm still trying to figure out how to legally sanction my memory for retaining images of Kamala and Kim Chee.
I would guess they're just trying to expand the Extended Achaemenidverse.
1-Zone Swing% and O-Swing %, respectively
No, she's just good at going to temple, mostly I think because they have a *lot* of good catering there.
Personally, my favorite event to do is "not doing anything," so agnosticism works out well for me.
On my long mental list to see, but I have not
My mom went to an event at temple apparently called KPop Purim, and I'm looking forward to interrogating her as to what exactly that is when I get a chance.

I had a dream that NBC had a new show in which Ron Swanson was pitching for the Red Sox and I was really mad he was right-handed. I was trying to figure out why I had such a specific dream until I found the dark truth: there's a part of my brain that doesn't understand the existence of Payton Tolle.
If you had asked me to bet on what the bosses in Yakuza: Like a Dragon were going to be, I would have put no money at all on "Giant Out of Control Roomba"

Just youtubed Majima in English and noped pretty hard out of this.
Probably not. Not really the same world (as far as I know) even if same engine, and the console exclusives I play are basically MLB the Show and various Nintendo-only IP. My PS5 is basically an expensive MLB the Show machine.
I have not yet. Going to work my way through man who erased his name, infinite wealth, pirate yakuza, then work my way to the various "extra" games I missed.
Anyway, I like to pretend I'm not aging, but I'll be 48 this year, not 28.
I never expected to play an RPG in which one of the classes was "Homeless Guy"
And when it comes down to it, I'm a sucker for a JRPG. The combat interactions are pretty funny, and you get in and out of fights pretty quickly.
I like it. Truth is, the Yakuza isn't one of the games I'm better at; there's an element of quick reaction to most of the counters in fighting, and my reaction time has simply slowed a bit over the years, so I can no longer just play these tyeps of games on Hard anymore.
I left it in Japanese. After playing seven of these games in Japanese, it just felt weird to be in the same localed and have guys talking in these neutral American accents
And the result is that stakes feel higher. With Kiryu, you just take for granted that he can walk into any building and just beat up the population of a small city single-handedly.
I've been really enjoying Yakuza Like a Dragon. I thought I'd miss Kiryu, but I like the contrast in personalities between Kasuga and him. He's heart-on-sleeve in a way that Kiryu never really is, and there's something really warm feeling about that.
