In retrospect, I’m surprised I liked them as much as I did because they were so user hostile. Things improved a LOT in the 90s
Day of the tentacle Grand theft auto 5 Prince of Persia the Sands of Time Gone home Blue Prince Portal 2 The witness Jones in the fast lane Monkey island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge
It’s impossible to pick only 9 games but maybe…
Never heard of 20th century frog! That looks so bizarre and I must try it
The GLAAD Media Awards are today, and The Roottrees are Dead is nominated for Outstanding Video Game! To celebrate, we've joined a Steam bundle with some of our fellow nominees: store.steampowered.com/bundle/69389...

Do you ever do freelancing? Our Godot game could use some more juice. My email is robin {at} eviltrout (com) if you want to chat about it!
I’m curious how you feel about it now! Are you still angry or is it funny?
The best time to play Öoo was when it was back in August when it was released on Steam. The second best time is right now!
Every freelancer I know has had a client who just never pays. Don't hire someone up for work if you don't have the money to pay them! You can literally ruin someone's life. Scumbags.
Yeah if your game is outright stolen you have DMCA and online stores to contact, but it seems like that rarely happens. People just love imaginary problems to distract them from doing actual game dev.
Maybe it’s because I worked in open source for a decade before getting into game dev but I truly don’t know why people care! Most games are straightforward and you can figure out how they’re implemented by just playing them.
Couldn’t wait to use this??? Lol
I know he went nutty at some point but Hyperion is one of my favorite sci-fi books ever.
My next game will be "20 More, Somehow Even Smaller, Mazes".
It will be free.
Wishlist it today!

I really enjoyed the demo for Puzzle Spy International. A lot of my recommendations are for deduction games, but I’m also a huge fan of crosswords and other pencil/paper stuff. The demo has a puzzle that’s not in the game which is cool! store.steampowered.com/app/3406690/...
We updated the steam page for The Incident at Galley House with a batch of new screenshots. The game has come a long way since we initially set up the page!

How many are you creating? I’ve not noticed a lag when I do it, but opening the root scene of my interface does take some time now that there are a lot of nested children
I've found I often use the containers to get the UI working nicely and flexibly, then once I'm sure how it needs to work I convert them to manually positioned Controls which I can then tween all over the place.
The Container types in #Godot are great for UI layout and I use them a lot. However, they do have the limitation of not allowing many types of animations, since the element positions and sizes are calculated for you.
If you’re a puzzle sicko, this game is for you. It’s quite challenging without resorting to moon logic. It knows that you’re smart enough to beat it and doesn’t coddle you. Plus, hunting nazis is fun. In the wise words of Indiana Jones: “I hate these guys!”
A meme of Alysa Liu based on Da Share Zone reading: JUST WALK OUT work social thing movies home class dentist figure skating too fancy weed store cops it your quick friend ships IF IT SUCKS... HIT DA BRICKS!!! Real winners quit You can leave!! Da Gold Zone
I’ve been talking about Alysa Liu’s story about her quitting skating only to come back and become even better because she did it for herself and this came to me in a dream…
that's some nice topology
Mystery sleuths, gather around!
Kate has compiled a case of 15 detective games to look out for in 2026:

What’s the Password is ridiculously good. It’s just one fun puzzle after another with no fluff or padding. I felt smart, then dumb, then laughed out loud, over and over again.

Also, my survey where we asked 1,000 players what game they played the most. Not what they liked best. Literally: "What game on this platform do you have the most minutes in?"
Of the thousand players asked, exactly ZERO got the answer right. Zero. Not a single one. That should tell you something.
Often Canadian focused stuff is cringey to me but this was SO GOOD
A poster for a showing of Nirvanna The Band The Show The Movie
Let’s do this!
If you’re ever looking for a tester or fellow game dev feedback I’d love to try it
