BREAKING Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian says his country will not surrender to Israel and the United States. He apologised to neighbouring countries for attacks launched during the war and says those countries will not be targeted unless Iran is attacked from there

The US and Israel see Iran as a threat in the region because its sovereign government could break with international law and close the Strait of Hormuz if they wanted to, sending oil prices soaring, something they've never done.
That's why the US and Israel bombed them until they did that.

A lot of people are also ignoring the role of Iran here, in that it was Iran itself that promoted the idea that it is independent from superpowers and does not want to enter into formal military alliances with countries like China. It's not to say there is no cooperation, but it's not overt.

I would be truly shocked (and I can be wrong ofc) if China was to come out in support of Iran in the same way that the US did in Ukraine, simply because China does not have the same interests or desire like the US does. It brokered a deal between Saudi and Iran for a reason.

Just because an unnamed source says so doesn't mean there is an escalation from China.
China is supporting Iran in the same way it always has, but its greater concern (and interest) is stability in the region, hence the use of diplomatic channels to resolve issues.

Valve suggests possible further delay to Steam Machine and Steam Frame:
"We hope to ship in 2026, but as we shared recently, memory and storage shortages have created challenges for us. We'll share updates publicly when we finalize our plans!"

It's not over. It's only over if there is no opposition at all. But there is opposition, and it's growing.

The worst part of all this, as i've noted before, is that there were attempts at normalization in 2015 under the Obama admin.
But it was immediately undermined by Trump, and the worst part is that even the modern Democratic party today have no desire to advocate for a return to normalization.

Yesterday, Trump stood in front of the world and said the "next one is gonna be Cuba".
He is intentionally starving the people of Cuba, cutting off their revenue, and plunging the country into darkness.
Cuba tried to negotiate too, just like Iran, but as we all know, this means nothing to the US.

Added context: Nintendo is not alone. Other companies that have sued over Trump's tariffs recently include FedEx, UPS, Barnes & Noble, Costco, Revlon, Prada, Staples...
In terms of gaming companies, I haven't seen others

One of the interesting findings from surveys we did in Southeast Asia a few years ago, was that gamers were starting to shift some of their spending away from video games and towards gambling platforms.
Part of it was due to stuff like this, where it is becoming normalized in influencer circles

Israel is using the βGaza doctrineβ in Lebanon and Iran
For years, Israel used the βDahiya doctrineβ in Gaza. Now itβs using the βGaza doctrineβ in Dahiya β and Tehran.
READ: Israel developed a doctrine of total societal destruction that is used in Gaza β and is now deploying it in Lebanon and Iran with full US backing.
This is one of the most important things you'll read today: mondoweiss.net/2026/03/isra...

The Iranian embassy in China released a statement thanking the Chinese public for its support, but that it is not accepting donations at this point.
Statement comes after an outpouring of support on Chinese social media with many asking how to donate to Iranian people.

And to clarify, I'm not saying Iran can do this because they're evil and want everyone in the US to die or something. The US and Israel forced Iran to make the calculation that they have to do this for survival, because if they didn't, they'd just be bombed again in six months.

If Americans can understand how Pearl Harbor required them to go all out against Japan, then understanding what Iran is doing right now should be easy.
Iran holds the cards here, not the US, and you can already see it with the Strait of Hormuz, oil supply shock, US interceptor stockpile decline etc

The US lost this war the second it attacked during a negotiation phase and killed its leaders.
This is existential for Iran, and one thing people forget is that Iran also has a say in what comes next. Even if Trump does withdraw, nothing stops Iran from continuing to destroy US assets in the region
