Survived this week's lectures thanks to off-brand panadol and nurofen. I don't recommend dental surgery as part of teaching prep generally, but lecturing for two hours straight with a half numb tongue was certainly an experience.

Extremely valid!! Useful context I should've included was "when the term is used by cis people." More specifically, in an academic text. Which is perhaps why I was more cautious when reading it initially.
