soubi and lily don't easily metabolize guilt or shame. these are feelings Other people have. soubi and lily have a very limited emotional range that doesn't deviate beyond being sleepy, sexy, or amused. when it does, it occurs with the wrath and sorrow of a calamity god.

opera flicks on rage switch when accused of guilt around other ppl but he inside self torments deeply and hurts himself, if he genuinely feels humiliated for doing wrong.

siobhan becomes suicidal if her grandmaster is angry, but with mew the guilt usually accumulates by not confessing to what she feels she did wrong or a delay in admitting she was scared when x, feeling shame over having been afraid and guilty for hiding

I was thinking abt this and I think guilt is different than shame and despair, and mew has no issues handling responsibility and making amends, but existentially they weigh every sin they've committed or ones that have been done to them in the ⚖️ of their heart.
