Are they going to upgrade the distribution network, if so that's a good incentive. It's a complete farce that we have to switch off generation capacity because we can't transmit it.

Why did I choose the longest family line to write up first? It's a lot to manage in one go.
Transcribing an audio from 40 years ago. Listening to a family discussion and I was thinking how strong an Essex accent my uncle had... then realised that was my own young voice π
It wrote a detailed plan for a tricky refactoring that was needed and it was basically step for step what I would have done
Let Claude loose on my precious family history website generator. It's so impressive. Created a tool to rewrite all the citations in my markdown docs to lookup from gramps and format in my preferred style. 15 minutes to do what would take me 2-3 hours
Pleased to say I started back with @probelab.io today on a part time basis.
Anyone got any good resources that talk about how to appropriately write about DNA matches and respect their privacy when triangulating? Especially when also writing about ancestor surnames. #genealogy

Sometimes you discover evidence that makes you re-evaluate your interpretation of the past. Today was one of those days. #genealogy

With the necessary slight delay, here's a thorough review of ProbeLab's activity and achievements in 2025 and our focus areas for 2026: probelab.io/blog/probela.... Looking forward to work with more networks and enhance the P2P layer of decentralised blockchain networks!
Another genealogy diary entry. Found the marriage of one of my ancestors that had eluded me for 30+ years

The first detailed biography I wrote this year isn't even a relative of mine: Patricio Herrera, a Chilean immigrant to Wales

Going to be posting more about my family tree research here over the coming months. Spent 2024-5 getting it straightened out and this year I'm planning on writing actual histories/biographies. I'm still recording day to day research in my diary as well. Currently: history.cozy.ac/diary/2026/2...
Thanks Keith. Hope all's well with you.
It's so simple to check the basics: heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels. Do it regularly and get a sense of what is normal for you so you can spot any changes early.
Today is the one year anniversary of my stroke. Luckily I avoided serious damage or disability, but I do have some permanent effects that affect me day to day.
It came out of the blue, without warning, but I could probably have avoided it if I had been checking my blood pressure regularly.
I'm here! Feel free to DM
@keithalexander.bsky.social hey!! π
