Without saying too much, it's very wholesome. It's definitely got a creepy atmosphere, but it's far from scary. I just wish it were longer and maybe that the puzzles were a bit more difficult, but that may be completely on purpose to make it more accessible to a younger audience.

I was never on myspace, I was a GaiaOnline girlie. So it might be nice to experience it in retrospect. Only downside is that I'm not super active in streaming again yet, but hopefully that changes in the coming weeks.
But the people running it were lazy/just didn't seem to care, so there was almost no advertising for it. You basically had to know someone there to even know it existed. And because of that, it was hard for me as a streamer to drive new people over to the platform. I hate that this is where we are.
Same honestly, but I think it has a lot to do with people either being lazy or too unwilling to step out of their comfort zone. I streamed on a competing platform for several years and it had the potential to be better than twitch. 1/2
If you're a newer streamer, consider setting up a ko-fi to receive any potential support. Just make sure to link a business Paypal account to it rather than a personal one! The small fee it'll take per donation is worth keeping your real name a secret.

I just couldn't do it anymore with a clear conscience. It sucks that it had to be something so dear to me, it's honestly my favorite game ever.
But hey, Paralives is still a WIP, so there's still something to look forward to.
It's my comfort game and I enjoy sharing my households and neighborhoods with others. But not if it potentially benefits EA. For clarity, I play my game off of discs purchased in the 00's/10's. I do not want to support EA as it exists now and I ask you, the reader, not to as well. Thank you.
Going forward, I will not be streaming Sims 2. I know that I'm not a big streamer, or an influencer by any means, but I don't want anyone watching my streams and being inspired by me to purchase a Sims game. I love The Sims 2. (c)
It was. And it happens more often than it should and it absolutely enrages me. He's a good guy and he deserves kindness and patience.
People infuriate me sometimes. Had a customer complain to me that my autistic coworker was "rude" to her and I had to explain that no, he isn't rude, he's autistic and it took like 5 whole minutes of me explaining it to her for her to understand why that matters. God.
I'll probably stream again next weekend and try to stick to a sort of schedule of Saturday and/or Sunday morning streams. It's what I had been doing before and while it's not ideal, it's better than nothing at all.
