Mary poppins house.
Search engines are useless. Social media's dying. New computers aren't affordable. So, let's all go back to the indie web!
For the first time in 17 years, I have a personal website again. I have more ambitious plans for the future, but for now it's just a small portfolio site.

I read this comic in Misty.
Concept art of Rosalind Lutece's wardrobe and outfit construction from Bioshock Infinite, drawn by Claire Hummel
"concept artists can experiment with AI to make their lives easi-"
wrong
I smack you with Claire Hummel's immaculate and detailed understanding of costume design, which she got by studying historical references, which made her strong, which you will not become by relying on AI

Saw a bunch of colouring in books for kids. One with a pixie girl on the cover where here arm merges with the fabric of her top so she has no hand. And I think youβre going to give that to a child and thatβs what theyβll use to learn what art is. just dispiriting.
1960s ai test.
Frank Quietly is one of the few artists who can have two characters just standing there against a white void, and have it be one of the best covers you've seen in a while.
Itβs fascinating. So much with so little. And alway interesting to look at.
What a unit. (Also fun to say βDavo and Goliathβ in an Ozzie accent)
This is slightly different to what keeps me drawing. I love other artists work and I see it and think βHell yeah, I want to do thatβ and then fail, but I enjoy the bit between βHell yeahβ and βoh thatβs not turned out how I hopedββ¦ so I keep doing it.
Iβve been making comics for over 15 years.
Self-published 30 books.
Run 18 Kickstarters.
But Night Movers might be the darkest story Iβve written & i need your support to bring it to life!
A 72-page psychological thriller set in Japan.

whats keeping me writing is the idea that ok, Iβm not ever gonna be Alan Moore or Garth Ennis or (pick your favourite) but also they will never ever write exactly the thing Iβm currently interested in and maybe itβs only me interested in it, but Iβm also the only one writing it.
Good job you nudged me!

Couple of puts of brushes. Brushes are priced 52p and 66p
Sostrene green sells paint brushes for insanely low prices. Probably crap but also probably good enough for big fill areas.
Mind the oranges Marlon!
Yeah itβs a good book but Iβd certainly not want to pay that! Youβll see a physical copy at some point I promise!
I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.
I think it brings it up to Β£15 - but that's standard postage, no tracking. Tracking would bring it to the insane price of Β£18!
tbh the US is such a black hole at the moment, last I heard the post office was telling people they couldn't post anything to the us!
At some point Iβll figure it out!
