Een houten meubel met 10 schappen elk in vier ongelijke vakken. Elk vak is gevuld met zogenaamd holwit: stukken hout en metaal in verschillende typografische maten.

Started filling up our new furniture cabinet. Some wood, some metal furniture. Wood preferred as this is the cabinet for using with the wood type collection.

When you were typesetting late at night somewhere in a poorly-lit print shop in 1702 Germany, and woke up to notice that you fucked up ...

This is excellent proto-grunge typography.

Foto met een detail van ontwerpstudie voor de Baardman prent. Oranje lijf, zwarte veeg als vleugel met lichtblauwe accenten. Potloodmarkeringen en een onleesbare notitie. De tekst staat linksonder: elementair, expositie van prenten door royscholten in het ontwerpfabriekje, hilversum.

M'n expositie ‘elementair’ opent aanstaande vrijdag 5 september om 5 uur in de middag. Welkom!.

Te zien: recente vogelprenten, nieuw werk uit de serie Street Spirits, en een aantal vogelprentontwerpstudies.

Self-publishing is a power, it's a gift. You can put whatever you want into your little 'zines and minicomics, absolutely nobody can tell you no. Tell your story, don't worry if it's "good enough", make it anyway.

2025 is the year of the Common Kestrel in The Netherlands.
