The president should be impeached and convicted, as should everyone responsible for these outrages. ICE should be disbanded. So should the Department of Homeland Security. And the people who have killed should be investigated and brought before judges and juries.

Alex was a kindhearted soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and also the American veterans whom he cared for as an ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital. Alex wanted to make a difference in this world. Unfortunately, he will not be with us to see his impact. I do not throw around the 'hero' term lightly. However, his last thought and act was to protect a woman. The sickening lies told about our son by the administration are reprehensible and disgusting. Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump's murdering and cowardly ICE thugs. He had his phone in his right hand and his empty left hand is raised above his head while trying to protect the woman ICE just pushed down, all while being pepper sprayed. Please get the truth out about our son. He was a good man. Thank you.

It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.

The American people don’t want to “run” a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one.

Congratulations to the 19 states raising the minimum wage in 2026.

But let’s be clear: a $7.25 federal minimum wage is a national disgrace.

No one who works full-time should live in poverty. We must keep fighting to guarantee all workers a living wage — not starvation wages.

The Washington Post is wrong. We need Medicare for All.

It is just as depraved to mock those wearing masks to reduce the spread of airborne viruses today.

As a #primarycare doctor we r seeing & treating many cases of #COVID & #influenza. Older adult > 70 📞last wk 6:30 am “doc sickest I’ve ever felt” not vaccinated “for anything” - he wanted azithromycin. I got him to an UC he was +H3N2. Similar stories w/Vid. Deeply disappointed in the New Yorker.

The obv problems with this are that: GP's aren't good at it, and it consumes their time from doing important things.
