Interesting, I always just create a simple post with link to my blog but it's not super effective. I wonder of your way gets more clicks.

Nice setup, how does this funnel convert so far?
I think it's more than just the code. I imagine that to get proper bot filtering you'd need an active defense system that learns from attacks all over the world.
From what I read, cloud versions have more sophisticated bots filtering. There are more differences between cloud and self hosted versions for most of open source options.
I'm creating a weekly meal planner for myself. Using recipes in plain markdown and VScode with copilot to make the plans for me.
I wonder if this will work out. So far, I need more recipes
I wonder if I can use @obsidian.md browser extension to get more recipes easily.
I use Umami. The worst part of self hosted analytics is that you don't have any sophisticated bot filtering. With all the AI scrappers now I'm not sure how many humans actually visit my websites.

Only if the post is fun π
Good idea. It highly depends on preferences.
Right now, I would buy even bigger 4K display π I have 27 inch but I guess around 30 would be better
I switched to a single monitor few years ago and Iβm happy with that. Ergonomics is way better.
After a while I bought myself a bit bigger monitor with 4K resolution to have sharp fonts which helps with eye strain. Comfort++ π
I was able to run Northgard on Linux without any configuration. Out of the box.
Amazing progress thanks to @steampowered.com π

I followed you, will take a look when available. Thanks βΊοΈ
Interesting, is your tool already available for others?
For me, I was mostly doomscrolling news or memes. Still better than short videos, those consume all mental energy.
How do you scout posts here with intention? Hashtags or just search bar?
Not sure why, but it reminded me of Max Payne game series
I like where Internet is heading after reading this. I try to switch to files since I discovered how much hustle it is to backup things I stored in SaaS apps.
Now, with Bluesky and Obsidian promoting being owner of your content it feels a bit easier.
Been there (still there though) - it gets even more challenging when the child grows, they require more attention every month and sleep less and less :)
Iβm still figuring it out, I donβt want to prioritise side hustle over my kid or my sleep. Challenging.
I did a survey on Tally.so
It is a nice tool but just placing link isnβt giving many responses. I guess it would work better to have some email automation and ask actively.
When I was reading your post, I thought that I need to improve my writing.
Thatβs because for me, your post is very human and personal. While mine are sometimes more βreservedβ thus my personality is not so visible and might look AI-ish.
30+ I guess Iβm in it for about 10 years of very low volume. There is so much other things that require attention. But we will make it one day π€
I try to use a single external monitor to boost my focus. Sometimes while debugging or doing something that requires terminal, AI chat etc I also open laptop to have 1 βrealβ screen + one supportive.
I also prefer a single external monitor because of ergonomics.
I guess I replaced doomscrolling with prompting.
At least, itβs not doomprompting π§

I used 80% of my gh copilot tokens in 2 days. I wasnβt coding any huge features, just restructured project to monorepo and fixed some bugs.
Interestingly, I had a feeling that first 20% was used in the same timer as later 60%.
At the end each prompt eat 1%.
Was it cached context or sth else?

Oh, I know this one. Wasnβt aware that there is Lego from Horizon π₯Ή
Very interesting, as a next step I would experiment adding 3 days for $2 and 7 days for $3 to highlight that there are options and increase $3 dollars sells as best value.
Small adjustment but very smart. I have to make the same move.
Recently, I noticed I react better to get disrupted while reading a book than when Iβm doomscrolling short videos. Itβs easier to get back to the book. Two benefits at once :)
Hey, thanks for sharing!
I will soon update the blogpost with answers from the survey metioned in it.
