Also, a total lack of understanding of where federal funds come from.
They always act like California is not contributing at all to the federal budget at all, when, in fact, it is the biggest contributor.

Soon we can predict US military strikes by tracking betting markets
what a crazy night for sam altman to be like "yeah we got that dept of war deal, and there's no moral concerns here"
Department of Culture Wars
They did a live version of it during sketchfest. It was great!
16th st plaza with two articulated buses on mission and 3 busses apprmaching on 16th and 1 heading outbound

The party of free enterprise, everyone: "they have also threatened [to] invoke the Defense Production Act to force the safeguardsβ removal" #anthropic
Urban highways are common in the US though β often without lowered speed limits or any kind of sound barrier.
It's hard to believe she is actually remorseful, if she did not already surrender her license.
It sounds like she will be able to drive again after 2β3 years of probation. Absolutely unbelievable.
A lot of the people that park on crosswalks and bike lanes in school zones are parents, and that is so disturbing to me.
Ted is onto something. Maybe congress should ban gerrymandering?
They should just make this a one-way for cars until there is money to widen the bridge.
Weirdly, there is an online form to report out of state plates, but for anything else you have to call or go to the station. www.chp.ca.gov/notify-chp/r...
The state needs a system like 311 but for cars. It is insane how many vehicles drive around the city that are not street legal or have dangerous modifications such as tinted windows.
How about putting everyone that got hired in the last year on leave, have them go through a full screening, and then actually train them for at least 18 months?
I would like to see ICE gone entirely, but making sure they are not psychopaths without any training is the bare minimum we should expect.
This is a reminder that you would be able to file your taxes with the IRS online this year, if the Trump administration did not have killed the Direct File program.
This is why the police should ticket people for covering their license plates.
Only if you count hybrids as electric.
Yeah. It is disgusting that they didn't even pretend to render first aid.
They should all be trained to provide first aid, but I wouldn't be surprised if none of them was.
Remember when hashtags were a thing that people consistently use, and you could actually search microblogging platforms for topics you care about easily?
I really hope this is the kick in butt Europe needed to finally show a unified front in foreign policy and military.
So the Maduro regime is still in power, and now receives more money from the US?
And our governor walks backs calling them state-sponsored terrorism...
Another great freedom unit nonsense: American heating uses BTU/hr (where 1kW is roughly 3.4k BTU/hr) for power, but electricity simply uses kW.
. @governor.ca.gov how is this not state-sponsored terrorism?
This is so dumb. Current e-bike regulations are not enforced at all.
I am all for getting rid of electric motorcycles on bike lanes, and existing legislation already prohibits them.
It is a good system IMHO, because Zebra crossings are less common and cars actually slow down and check for pedestrians when approaching one.
In the US, you technically have the ROW on every crossing, but cars just speed through them.
In Germany, Zebra crossings are only painted when there are no traffic lights and pedestrians always have the right of way on these crossings. For other crossings, cars either have the ROW or pedestrians need to wait for a light. It is similar in the UK en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pedestr...
