The most appropriate form of support I would argue is to provide anti-air support to the Gulf countries—which incidentally also benefits UK interests, unlike airbase access.
Giving consent to the US to use British airbases strikes me as unwise though.

I happened to be looking earlier today too to see what he might come up with but couldn't find it—if anyone knows what happened to his account?

Furthermore, unless Scotland were to be negotiating simultaneously with Brussels (which would turn independence into a triangular operation) the question of the currency would also arise.
Maybe there's a route I haven't thought of, but it strikes me that doing Brexit all over again is not ideal.

Assuming the current polling is accurate the result would likely be a relatively close vote towards an undefined exit, i.e. what the UK did in 2016.
Would it therefore not be more expedient to consider pathways to negotiating a new Scotland-England arrangement *before* a referendum?

Other than the legal pathway *to* a referendum would the bigger question?
The same issues as Brexit would be raised all over again—trading arrangements and freedom of movement, the border, regulatory compatibility, Scots in England and vice versa.

As a personal anecdote, I ended up once on a lunchtime Paris-Lyon TGV which the conductor told us was about 105% (or 110%) booked with people who were, in fact, standing in the aisle and on the stairs.
Not attributable to a strike or exceptional incidents as far as I can recall.

Est-ce que les participantes sont rémunérées ? Outre le fait que le sieur Wackermann avait un handicap, à mon sens le fait qu'il ait été rétribué n'est pas parfaitement étranger à Morsang.

Also, let's fixate about some vague obiter from a case involving a Jacobite-rising-related rent dispute between the commander of a militia and a landowner decided in favour of the farmer to deduce that there was a long and accepted common law tradition of soldiers squatting people's homes.

Yes but wouldn't the more durable solution be to dilute that pool by creating new judges, which would be more than welcome in many districts anyway to lighten the load? It also seems to me that the bulk of Trump-appointed judges are not Aileen Cannon or Matt Kacsmarysk.

Why is a new court necessary? What's the difficulty with the regular district courts hearing those cases (with extra judgeships/outside judges by designation if needed)?

Out of interest, what do the Chagossians say?
I must confess that I don't know much about the Chagos affair other than the technical administrative law issues raised by Olivier Bancoult's litigation just over a decade ago.

How long ago was "used to be"?
I personally had enough and stopped going there altogether a couple of years back and mostly take the ferry now.

If I remember I'll check again tomorrow to see if April 7 trains become viewable. It may be that TGV 9552 does in fact run after April 7 again (note that nothing on the website indicates that the data is only available for 3 months, helpfully).

That's rather interesting because I tested the same tool with Paris-Lyon TGVs that are likely going to be running beyond April 6 and the SNCF Voyageurs page isn't showing them. So it may be that the system only shows the next 3 months' worth of trains (not that it says anything about that).

You could try filing an FOI request perhaps? Depending on how they're framed they've sometimes worked for railway timetables and works related documents.

Searching train 9552 through the SNCF-*Voyageurs* website apparently the train runs/doesn't run:
✅: 28, 30, 31 March / 1, 2, 3 April
❌: Sundays (at least 22, 29 March) / On or after 4 April (for the foreseeable future)
