the main object for this artwork is a type of vintage telephone at the time. I mainly referenced this photograph www.flickr.com/photos/posta...
for this comm, I stumbled upon Hisui Sugiura's works and his role as a pioneer for Japanese graphic design. The use of flat black is very prominent in his works so I tried to emulate it somehow with the hair, but it turned out less flat than I intended.

I like naming my artwork, even commission pieces. Maybe it's weird but I find myself enjoying my own artwork more when its name can reflect some aspect of the artwork's concept.
The original name of this artwork was kinda boring so I decide to change it to a more descriptive name
