my favorite part about this rewrite is that i don't have to store a text buffer anywhere, it's just using bevy's existing UI mechanisms to render things. (i was afraid that storing text by logical line would be a bad choice but actually that's just what everybody does)

still trying to figure out how to measure a monospace character width for more accurate line wrapping, but this is going pretty well imo

but yes i think you're doing the right thing. it's there for automation. and you know that the way to learn is to do it yourself before you delegate the writing to somebody else.
