Illusion mages in fantasy novels are so lazy and uncreative, they all just be making clones and stuff. They should be out there creating pure nightmare fuel and impossible geometry that makes combat impossible.

I hereby decree that the term for mana sense is "flurgel" IE: "I can flurgel the spell from here! We must be getting close."
Just thinking, but why has no one invented a term for mana sense? Like we don't call things sound sense, we call it hearing. It's smell, not scent sense. We made up the word mana so why have I never seen anyone make up a word for mana sense?
I feel kind of dumb that I only just realized that being in space near earth would not be cold, but burning hot. (Provided you could see the sun) Just one of those things that is obvious in retrospect.
Why is "femur" THE go to non-skull bone? Like any writer anywhere is thinking about a bone name to mention in their story and almost everyone goes, uhhhh idk, femur? Why do we just not know any other bone names?
Yall ever press your wrist so hard against your desk that it melts the rubber under your desk mat? Just me?
Fun tech idea: A ring that is connected to your phone and slowly contracts for every notification you have uncleared. This ring will eventually cut your finger off. No, I will not be taking criticism on this design.
What if large piles of gold are like the dragon equivalent of beanbag chairs? For something so large and heavy, a soft metal like gold would be a pretty good cushion.
Then later you find out half the furries there were actually very similar looking wolf creatures and nobody noticed.
Imagine you are an adventurer in a fantasy world and you take your first quest to hunt a pack of strange bipedal wolves near a village only to arrive and find its just a bunch of furries having a cookout.
I posted this over on mastodon but it is too many characters for bsky so enjoy a screenshot of my dumb idea. I hope someone uses it in a DnD campaign.
Has anyone out there written a book where the narrator and the MC are very distinct people who are fully aware of one another... and trying to murder each other? Like imagine The Stanley Parable, but its a fantasy story and Stanley is the farmer turned hero.
Story Idea: The apocalypse has begun and the heavens deliver a message to the heroes! One problem though, the heroes are all SUPER HIGH at the time and have conflicting memories about what the prophecy was.
Ferryman: Be careful not to touch the River Styx, even a drop would mean being lost forever.
Me: *Pulls head out from under the water* Did you say something? I was busy slurping up the yummy soul juice.
Idea: magical girl anime but they combine with their horses. The villains all work at an evil glue factory.
If you replaced the dough of a pizza with a taco shell, would that really be any different from chips and salsa with queso?
I will not be accepting feedback on this argument.
Still alive BTW.
That's all.
Back to the void.

Do you all remember when react requirements kept bots out of discord servers? Seems the bot creators have ways past that now... I hope discord adds the option to require a captcha test to join a server eventually. Would make life easier.
