She's so mad at me she hasn't spoken to me since
I just had to get a pill and a liquid in the cat, and I managed! Claps all around
That's a sign of the grifter slop newsletter, I think, the single sentence paragraph, so I bet a lot of AI trained on that stuff. I hate it.
Even better if you throw some sun dried tomatoes in there too
Such coordination, wow
I do my first plantings usually around or after spring break- mid March? You could probably do them in the next week.
I don't either π
I did that a few weeks ago and i couldn't get up the stairs for 2 days! My poor muttons
Those could also be called your nuts (if you're British)
It sounds like it's going to be AI
Thanks! I think they might be my favorite thing I've designed so far (besides the mushrooms...)
A print in purple ink of the circular form, 2 rounds of ornamental flowers and a text round reading CHANGE IS GROWTH IS and a diamond of the same flowers in the middle
Here's a proof of the circular form. Still a few spacing tweaks to make but I'm pleased. If you would like your own Bellflower ornaments to print with, they're ready to ship on my site, bowerbox.com

Metal letterpress type in a flower ornament design and Greco Bold reading GROWTH IS CHANGE IS set in a circle so it will read continuously
Setting up some #daredeviltypesetting today, with my own Bellflower ornaments and some Greco Bold. Lots of careful spreading to get everything sitting nicely in the circles. I'm planning to print this in 2 colors on a printed silver background. #letterpress
I would still want to post my processes and techniques and maybe focus more on teaching and sharing through posts rather than selling, but I'd still do that too just with less pressure.
Hard agree! Yesterday was rough
Lost several hours of sleep last night bc I woke up and then was so mad about the FDA's refusal to review the new and improved flu vaccine that I spent the next two hours writing emails in my head instead of sleeping so I can be ready to teach today.
Awesome, I'll have to look for it. I'm trying to figure out who it is. Very generous!
This is the opposite of my trips to TJs, I just end up with 80 dollars worth of snacks
No joke: I got angry hate mail today for writing an obituary of a Black woman scientistβbecause the person felt she did didnβt deserve the recognition.
Which just makes me want to share it again: www.nature.com/articles/d41...
So much easier to catch them when they're frozen, I'm sure
Had my first class with 6 new college students today and they were all engaged, excited, and got ink on their hands. And a former student had an installation of big prints collaged on the wall to create a scene. People like doing what I teach, sometimes, and that's not sucky.
Accessible to a lot of people? I dunno. You can come here and print posters for some variety
The Tiffany Aching books from Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. I love them even as an adult.
A long poster reading A B O L I S H I C E in very old wood type with a fun little border above abs below
Finally had a bit of energy to get on press today
This is some of my biggest wood type, a very old 25 line octagon style with wood rule above and below. #letterpress
Then you might really need some physical therapy πΆ
I prefer them stacked like wood on their sides, easy to see the nick and maneuver into the right position, and it protects the face if you have mice that like to pee in your cases π¬π¬π¬ (or from dropping anything on the face) but this does look pleasing!
Petting cats too much maybe?
I'm sure you have some repetitive stress or something, ya know
Do you need any physical therapy? πͺ
I'll look at the forecast for November...
