As a husky owner, I definitely agree! When GOT came out, I knew huskies were gonna end up bought and dumped immediately 😭 because no research was done prior to getting one. The last thing we need is more dumped dogs 😭
Switching on a few variants in gray wolf dna that match dire wolves is not de-extinction. It’s a step in the right direction though.
I know 😭 This whole media frenzy is the opposite of how proper science should be communicated and detailed out.
