It’s one of those Mondays where all I want to do is cry.

At least I got a mocha latte, a fire in the fireplace, and a corgi who loves me… which is quite a lot to be grateful for… but still I want to cry.

It’s interesting how your age really changes who you relate to in the show. I remember in my early twenties, really loving the relationship between Rory and Lorelei… and wanting to be a go-getter like her.

Now I just relate a lot to Emily and understand her intentions.

I found a cat. She’s so tiny and underweight, I assumed she was just a kitten. Turns out the poor thing is two years old!

She’s so sweet… 🥹 Trying to see if maybe she has a home that misses her…

Yeeeeee!!! I was so worried that the cylinder bird feeder I got, especially for the woodpeckers, was a bust after multiple days of no activities.

Looked out this morning and I had a little Downy and a Red-bellied, one on each side! I did get some pictures. Will show later!

I have also been learning this a lot this year with different birds. I love seeing the Juncos arrive! I never paid attention until I invested in feeders.

I am very bad at identifying the different sparrows. I noticed Chipping Sparrows this year! Who knows what 2026 has in store!
