That’s true! However if I haven’t heard from a prior year client by 4/10 and I don’t have a signed engagement letter, I figure they aren’t my client and I don’t file an extension for them.
More than half of my new clients this year had $0 extensions filed for them by the prior firm. It…wasn’t helpful. #taxbs

I had that epiphany today as well! I moved to one of them a couple of years ago. It’s too soon to ask clients to move again so I’m gritting my teeth and hanging in!

I spoke to an IRS agent this morning who said that he’s returning to the office next Monday but there aren’t enough workstations for everybody who is returning to the office. Get your calls and issues resolved this week because next week will be more difficult to get through. #taxsky
