The Seattle subreddits in particular have always been astroturfed by right wing trolls. The sub also draws in people outside the city simply because it's big and a place to post Washington content.

State of Washington legislators (60%+ are democrats, with a Democrat governor) had a chance to allow this type of development state wide but didn’t pass the proposed bill for the 3rd year in a row because they aren’t actually serious about walkable neighborhoods with lower emissions.

As much as I enjoy weather just barely warm enough to bike to UW, inhaling all the exhaust from morning traffic sucked. Makes me wish I could wear a gas mask or something.
