This is just texture work for the linework effect. Just feels a bit more pure 2d because I project the texture from the cameras perspective

did some texture and shader work
Hell yeah escape velocity! Thatβs so my jam
Which is better? Ortho vs perspective
Thatβs exactly whatβs happening. Sometimes the geometry is as simple as a cube, like the backside view of this prop, but I do rough out a bit more geometry usually where itβs needed. Doesnβt take long to do and it adds a lot to the effect
Thanks!
Yup thatβs basically right. I have crude (not exactly a cube) geometry I projection map to
Thanks! The cans also have crude 3d geometry. No parallax shader magic
Well the engine is unity, but this is a prototype for a tycoon style game
Thanks Bruce! Still playing with the idea, but feeling more and more like itβll take shape
Thanks!
They werenβt 3D until now. I projection mapped them to crude geometry to get this 2.5D effect
quick engine test
Added some drink fridges. Gotta draw all the angles too!
What an embarrassing day to be an American
kitchen in winter βοΈ #pixelart #lowpoly
This was a lot harder to draft out than expected
A couple of checkouts
More sketchin'
my little shopper
A prop concept for a game idea i'm toying with
Probably if it catered to a specific niche I was interested in better than other engines
Want auto-complete in your tile map editor?
I prototyped an editor that uses wave function collapse algorithm which dynamically learns how to use your tiles as you use them.
No auto-tiling rules necessary. Your map are the rules
So freaking cool!
Inktober Day 22 - Button
Forever ago @danfessler.com showed a really snappy technique where he made an isometric drawing, dissected it, then projected it onto his model for a really easy texturing process. Finally gave it a proper go with a DS!

Hereβs my art for reference
Completely by chance found this app which is using my pixel art in their app icon
Since when did my phone become the ultimate handheld gaming device? I can play all mobile-native, console-emulated, and pc-steam games all from my iPhone with telescopic controller
More warhammer storage discoveries
I think itβs the 3rd?
