It hit even more when you know Betty's mutation is about independence from men specifically and finally being herself and not what they want her to be (the perfect daughter, the perfect wife, the readers' sexual fantasies etc)

it gave us some very cute Sam moment because as surprising as it is Sam is actually a very decent person when he's in love with a woman and tends to be very understanding and protective to them, to the point of protecting them from himself.

really like the idea of Sam wanting to steal Betty from Bruce in a why to "take HIS place", not for her, but for him, to get everything he has and in that future it seems to be kinda this 'cause Sam doesn't give a single fuck about Betty, he cared about her gamma transformation.
That being said-

Fortunately for everyone that "Sam is into Betty" nonsense was very very short (fuck how I hate the lazy "villain want your wife" trope when they clearly want their enemy) and it was revealed that it wasn't even his own feelings.
Though as much as I hate the idea of Sam being into Betty, I do-

it's so funny how Bruce's perfect dream is "I forgave Sam and he saved the world, not me but him, 'cause he's so smart and he loves me also 🥰" while Sam's is "Bruce is fucking dead and I'm fucking his wife"

I used to think it was clearly one sided as Sam is way more vocal with his gay obsession for Bruce than him (wouldn't stop my shipping fun tho), but then you have Bruce's perfect utopia, the future he desires, in which he forgave Sam, had him be a good guy, saving the world and loving him

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.
