it's the time of year that I have $$$$$$ tied up in convention prep, restocks, new design development, etc. again 😭 I'm really putting my all into it again this year

I'm still vaguely horrified by the fact that pretty much my entire life I hated gardening so I was like "when I have my own house I'm not gonna bother with yardwork" and now that I have my own house I have fallen prey to the allure of Pretty Garden and am now gonna be in yardwork hell

it's about to be the season for doing gardening prep so I drew up some plans for what I'd like to do with our yard and then instantly missed how relatively easy/inexpensive it is to decorate or landscape in animal crossing 😭 by the time I have enough time/money for this irl I'll be old lol

Someone did claim that "they were sure these socks were from hot topic" though and like, if you saw them at hot topic or whatever please let me know immediately so I can file a lawsuit LOL 😭 I don't have any consignment or retail deals with anyone else to carry my designs

I don't produce anything really kink-targeted (at least, not on purpose) so it's just really interesting to me that when I post about these socks I made suddenly they're here en masse when prior, I have like very little/almost 0 of my followbase comprised of that demographic

not that this is necessarily a bad thing but every time I post about the thigh socks I designed there's an extremely high proportion of kink accounts interacting with/buying them LOL

my brain is exploding trying to figure out display planning for AX has anyone ever gotten these types of rigid walls constructed for their convention display before and want to share how much it cost them bc I can't find it in the con logistics catalogue

trying to get people to understand I'm not fatphobic or whatever I just can't afford to make something for literally everyone AFHDSLAFKN

Yeah I think people don't realize how much more it costs + how much more strain it is to make different sizes 😭

also if I was really trying to exclude plus size people, why would I bother making up to 2XL in most of my other clothes lol

it's only now, like 4(?) years after I made that first batch of socks, that I can finally seriously consider making an additional bigger size :x

I understand why ppl might have this constant state of mind that others are out to get them or whatever but it sucks for them to assume that about me

The reality is that the MOQ for socks was 1000 pairs per color, per size and I was already kind of making an unwise financial decision saddling myself with 2000 pairs of socks in pink+black colorways when I had a much, much smaller following (I am still selling from that same batch to this day)

Some people really are determined to see demons in every closet bc I'm remembering the time someone tried to accuse me of "purposely excluding plus size and trying to only get small girls to represent my brand" when I said I only had one size (S/M) of my thigh socks made
