As the maintainer of a few different open source projects, I love seeing the enthusiasm of new contributors. Having people collaborate in the open in a project with the goal of making things better for everyone is part of what makes open source so special to me.

- watch paint dry
- sit and contemplate which foot is best to put forward when springing into action
- find a nail in your wall, pull it out, fill the hole with putty, watch it dry, then put the nail back in
