But I have not found any polling either π
But I have not found any polling either π
My two cents is that Driver is the best option- I spent weeks digging around and a lot of the candidates are in the pockets of JStreet or AIPAC and Driver isnβt, and he seems like the most progressive candidate with a solid organization and ground game.
I was so distressed by the unnecessary comma in "December, 2022," and the unnecessarily capitalized "Presidential," and I might throw in the immediately following unnecessary hyphen, that I didn't, till my third read, see the Main Event.
Colored sketch of Revolutionary War hero and (probably) intersex bae Casimir Pulaski, looking very dapper with rosy cheeks and a wee little moustache.
Happy gender-ambiguous cavalry hero day to all who celebrate.
sure the pedophile felon president just illegally bombed a country that may have nukes while federal forces under his command murder and harass people in america and immigrants are tortured and he moves forward with plans to build concentration camps and sorry idk where i was going fuck all of this
Driver is also a strong left candidate, based on his policy platform. The SEIU is his major backing force but he has progressive policy statements at least.
I ended up going for Driver fwiw- progressive endorsements lined up and his policy views as stated align with mine. Itβs been a crazy hard race though, too many candidates!
No one should be using ChatGPT or partnering with OpenAI for anything.
Poll has Stratton within 2 points of Raja.
Keep consolidating. A vote for Kelly or Ryan is a vote for Raja.
demlgs.org/release-new-ppp-poll-shows-stratton-has-closed-gap-with-krishnamoorthi-to-a-2-point-race-stratton-leads-krishnamoorthi-by-5-points-in-2-way-matchup/
Part of the problem with Gavin Newsom is that he's a stupid asshole who listens to stupid asshole right-wing podcasts and invites those stupid asshole right-wingers on his podcast and all of this stupid asshole influence leads him to believe and say stupid asshole right-wing talking points.
I think itβs all in the accessorizing- you can get basics from Quince or Everlane and then add pops with jewelry or accents that turn it from frumpy to more edgy. I like to go more menswear/oversized and less femme with the garments. Also pay attention to shoe choice.
I would also include Easy Winter (before Christmas) and Hard Winter (after Christmas) as distinctions. You think itβs winter before the holidays, itβs snowing and festive, and then you get a nice punch in the face afterwards.
They said it. Weβre all thinking it.
βThis is a world of compensations; and he who would *be* no slave, must consent to *have* no slave. Those who deny freedom to others, deserve it not for themselves; and, under a just God, can not long retain it.β
And yes I could try to update this chart by hand-checking each of these cities since the .gov stopped collecting/reporting this
but I am not being paid $1M to do a CPD staffing study
And I think the consultant who is should explain why they think CPD should have the most officers, anywhere
read this whole thread. Read till the end
This is also my experience- still seeing much longer headways on Ashland.
Thanks to FOX 32 for having me on this morning to discuss food delivery robots in the 1st Ward. Based on feedback from our resident survey, there will be no expansion of sidewalk robot deliveries in the ward. Thanks to everyone who took the time to weigh in. www.fox32chicago.com/video/fmc-sf...
Thanks!
Where is everyone getting a copy of the video? I just got off a plane and missed it, and canβt find the video anywhere.
KS passed a horrifying anti-trans bathroom bill, and the citizens are not going to let it stand without a fight!
The Board of Governors decided, unilaterally, that no published textbook in the field of sociology could be used in compliance with the law for an Intro to Sociology class. None. Victor: There's not a single existing textbook on the market that could be used that would qualify under state law? Zachary: Correct. Victor: I'm sorry, that's kind of funny. Like, the absurdity of not a single sociology textbook getting past the censors. I mean, it makes me kind of proud of our colleagues, but...
I do want to shout-out my fellow sociologists, who have collectively created a discipline so woke that not a single one of our introductory textbooks can make it past Florida's censors.
Great work everyone.
Iβm not terribly impressed with the logic on the Senate choice personally, but everyoneβs entitled to their opinions of course. I think Stratton is significantly more effective as a communicator than Kelly.
The 2026 Primary Edition of ##GirlIGuess is now live!! You can find the Guide and other election-related resources at girliguess.com. I don't want to even THINK about Congress again until November. Happy voting!!
Highlighting the speaker who stood in front of the Surprise mayor and told him to consider what the Mayor of Ohrdruf mustβve thought before he died by suicide: βHe might have thought βhow is this my fault I had no jurisdiction over thisβ maybe he said βthis site was not subject to local zoning.ββ
I would very much like to see the visage of this apex predator if you have a photo handy!
this absolutely should not be a surprise but the chicago tribune constantly finds a way to have the worst fucking take
Agreed re: plowing. This is a public safety matter and should be the responsibility of the city.
I monitor the reports on the 311 app in my neighborhood and if the reports are processed, they nearly always say βdoor hanger leftβ and I donβt see any impact whatsoever on snow removal at those locations. Itβs pretty discouraging.
The nazis redistributed the stolen property of deported Jews to the German population. It was called Aryanization.
This is no different.
