my son is rhyming in a language I cannot speak
and I, lost to the rhymes, am found
in his glittering eyes.
I'll have some family-themed poems out later today... So I'm revisiting "TO MY SON AT THREE DAYS"

Saddened to hear of the passing of Luci Shaw, not long before her 97th birthday. She was a breathtaking poet, who spoke and wrote so beautifully. She has inspired so many through her writings, and her life filled with love. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.
