39 years ago today, Dream Warriors premiered & rewired my brain. True scares and wildly inventive kills, plus a sassy monster. And that gothic synch score by Badalamenti is GREAT. The one sheet that hung in my childhood bedroom is now properly framed in my living room. Happy Dream Warriors day!

Finally saw Sam Raimi’s SEND HELP and wow it lived up to the hype. I loved it. Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien absolutely understood the assignment. Camp is wildly underrated because it’s so hard to do well. Thrilled to see Raimi this gloriously unhinged again. Also, Dylan can get it.

Was surprised by how much I enjoyed Luc Besson’s DRACULA. It’s a real spectacle! To be fair, for most of the second act I thought I was watching Tommy Wiseau’s “The Castle”.
I may or may not have been a BIT starstruck… so I’m especially happy with how my Our Lives interview with Mink Stole and Peaches Christ turned out.
