good luck have fun don't die - or, if you do, try to do it in an appropriately comedic fashion
Coffee, Book (The Great Siege of Malta, Marcus Bull), Banana Bread, glasses case
Still working through Siege, am in the final chapters. It's been quite a ride!
Criterion, Kino and Terracotta in the UK are pretty much the only folks I order discs from these days.
For Shakespeare, as a local boy, I've got to support the Tempest tho it has its issues. That said, if I was naming a playwright of the period other than Wobbledagger, I'd go Ben Johnson: The Alchemist. By far my favorite play, full stop.
I got a leather case from Nappa Dori in London when I was last in the UK; really like it. Not as colorful as yours, but I'm a fan
Coffee beans, coffee, glasses case, apple danish, book (The Great Siege of Malta, Marcus Bull)
Still working through the Great Siege of Malta. Highly recommended to lovers of history; the machinations of the Ottomans and the Knights of Malta are instructive tales.
family be that way. I've got an example of my own I can't get rid of, much tho I wish otherwise
Mars Is Heaven?
that sounds remarkably like Ray Bradbury, but he did so many stories in a similar vein I'm not sure I could put my finger on this particular one
recommended viewing ref: smartest people in the room, Fog Of War, a documentary - it's on the drive. not a direct analogy to current situation but it's a fascinating watch
I think Bill Hicks once said something similar about pornography

I love this particularly because it highlights Joe Wilsonβs amazing cover art.
reminds me a little bit of a known issue with WWI era submarines; the mechanics of using the toilet were such that, if you got it wrong, (and it was easy to screw up), a disaster beyond your imagination will occur ...
'If we want to sit down, that's where the price goes up' - you know, the Globe Theatre in London works on the same principle. I've been there; it's fun!
see, when I impulse buy it's blu-ray from Kino Lorber or Criterion. Which, given import duties and shipping, is probably about as expensive as concert tickets, though perhaps not as expensive as *these* concert tickets.
Coffee, glasses case, pastry (spinach & ricotta), book (The Great Siege of Malta, Marcus Bull)
A change from Anthony Price. I've nearly worked through the spy backlog, and wanted something historic to sink my teeth into. Thursday challenge accepted!
I can recommend hot room yoga. Not Bikram; i understand that's a bit ... what's the word ... obsessive. But if you want to build flexibility and core strength, hot room's a good route.
Yeah, it's a challenge. I started doing pilates and hot room yoga before COVID and I'm seeing a big difference. I never want to be an athlete; I want to be able to walk upright in my 80s. Which will also be a challenge, I expect ...

It means Joy. Happiness. Also, an incredibly challenging position to pull off. Took me four years to get it right, and I'm still not entirely sure how I did it. Still, you're the sort who likes a challenge ...
been doing it for a few years now, glad to see you're part of the cult. Wait till you have a shot at the Seal ...
thinkin' on it, you already have a Captain Haddock working with you on Let's Nope ... You'd just need to give him one of those captain's caps
