I’ve been so busy with work this week that I haven’t had hobby time, so enjoy these tidbits of what my partner has said when I’ve tried explaining Warhammer to her:

Nah, I won’t create a fuss over my hair color. Isn’t worth the energy sometimes lol.
That my hair was red just because my beard was. My hair was (before I started shaving) brown.
We went to a local game store before Christmas and I walked through all the armies they had in stock. He wanted Votann so I grabbed him the combat patrol 🙂
Teaching my teenage son how to play with a roughly 400pt game of 40K. He beat me by 5!

Feeling inspired to really buckle down on painting after a super fun AoS game yesterday. I only had 40 of 80 clanrats painted, and half the terrain, so I have a real drive to get it done. Finishing up my Skaven WIPs on my desk, and my wife's last unit for her spearhead. Here's today's progress:

Wargames Weekend was such a massive success. I got to visit old friends, see one of my favorite cities and two of my favorite bands (Descendents and Frank Turner) and play plenty of games.

My Lord Discordant held down the left side of the board like the champion he is, and wiped the floor with my buddy’s orks. I won 59-45!
