I was reacting specifically to the trans erasure currently going on, but yes, I was also talking about the full range of LGBTQIA+ erasure, which also happens and which will surely follow.

I was just squeezing into the Bluesky character limit. XD

This is why queer media is important. This is why pride is important. It reduces the isolation of people, especially a younger audience to know that others like them are out there.

I'd love to see someone try to legislatively tie tax breaks to employee hires and salaries. Since that's what tax breaks are ostensibly supposed do but are almost never actually used for.

I dunno if it’s changed but when I was in the industry in the post-Lion King 90s “animation was expensive” mostly because of the hordes of money-hungry executive producers who’d tacked their salaries onto a given project adding an extra 150% to the total budget 🙄

When I was younger I dreamed of having a “mobile studio” so i could work from anywhere. At the time it would have involved a Photoshop-capable Macbook, Wacom tablet, drafting board, pencils and erasers, and portable scanner.

Now I toss my iPad Pro in a bag and I can do 90% of my work anywhere. 🎉
