I barely turn on my Windows PC and I have Windows 11 Arm running in a VM on my MacBook if I need anything windows based. If Microslop definitely goes down this route then Windows 11 will be the end of the road for me as well.
Given that memory and storage prices are going through the roof it seems rather bizarre to force users to buy new kit to run it. Especially given how well MS' push to get people to buy new kit to run Windows 11 has gone.
In just under an hour's time I will be in a swimming pool for the first time since the middle of 2019. Having a lesson to remind me how it all works and hopefully I won't sink!
I stopped subscribing to the Guardian after their stance on LGBT+ rights (trans specifically.) I could somewhat tolerate their skewed views on Scotland and Scottish politics (being London based and all) but that was a step too far.
It does make you wonder what the US govt are up to. The old "today is a good day to bury bad news/ do something that would normally attract bad press" comes to mind...
Since I'm not going to the Alps this year I think it's time to bring the Alps to me. This is from the 2004/2005 Sherpa supermarket magazine and, whilst it's simple enough, it's lovely.
Brrr... it's both cold and the pavements are icy up here in the 'Burgh which means I've got an official excuse to break these UGG Extreme bad boys out (I got them in the sale last year for use abroad when I'm snowboarding.) Utterly ridiculous but impressively warm.
Spent some time over the weekend setting up Nemesis and doing a few test rounds to see how it works. Looks like it's going to be a fun game but definitely needs a large table to set everything out.

First run since 7th Feb so quite pleased with managing to get the 5k done in under 25 mins. Also marks the first time I've run in my Behind Barz (along with the usual padding). No issues so I guess this means it doesn't really need to come off now, does it? 😳

Operation Decommission Flat Exchange has commenced. 1st of 2 servers being uninstalled. Quite a strange feeling as I've been running Exchange in the flat since 2000 (v5.5 all the way to v2019.) But my stress levels are going to be far lower as a result. 😀
Monday and Chaster's options were fairly kind, which was good considering I have to my new companion (aka the AirTag ankle cuff) to think about.
