If any part of the U.S. immigration system is unsustainable, it's the cruelty toward immigrants at the hands of the state.
Republicans: We want masked secret police grabbing people off the street to go to concentration camps.
Democrats: Okay, we'll fund it, but👏 please 👏 wear 👏 body 👏 cams!
Abolish ICE and replace it with nothing.
The right claims 1984, but they're really 1488.
Republicans: UNLIMITED UNCHECKED POWER FOR ICE
Libertarians: ABOLISH ICE
Democrats: well, um, see, what if we gave them eleventy zillion dollars but also they pinky promised to lower their masks?

We privatize things we care about because we want to protect them from the state.

The Libertarian Party doesn't simply want to tinker with funding, we want to abolish ICE and the DHS.
Democrats fund ICE.
Republicans fund ICE.
Libertarians want to #AbolishICE.
Time and time again, government uses division to gain power.
The injustices against which Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke still echo in current issues, leveraged by the state.
Whether it's ICE, anti-LGBT laws, or any other injustice, all good people must unite against the injustice of the state.
We have to space them out so they're unexpected.
Whether it's Bush or Obama, Biden or Trump, Libertarians are anti-war no matter who is in office.
Finally, a way for the Venezuelan people to avoid extra-judicial murder for being suspected of having drugs!
The Trump administration's most consistent policy is the gleeful promotion of cruelty.
Not like it would be justified if they were drug smugglers, but I think it hasn't gotten enough focus that a boat with 11 people onboard heading from Venezuela to Trinidad was almost certainly migrants. These were probably, at least for some of them, people fleeing Maduro. That's who they murdered.
The answer to substance abuse is compassion and mutual aid, not a carrier strike group.
"Where were you when Obama did it??"
Everywhere.
Whether it's Trump murdering those accused of transporting drugs or Obama drone striking non-combatants, murder is wrong no matter who is in office.
Trump was for releasing the Epstein Files before he was against releasing the Epstein Files, before he was for releasing them...
Trump can be credibly accused of many things, but consistency is not one of them.
