I wrote an article for The SEO Community about pricing for SEO professionals. I go through different models of pricing, how to calculate your hourly rate, things to watch out for, and more.
I also got @raquelseo.bsky.social and @nickleroy.com to share their expert points of view.
Nick Leroy's newsletter (recommended) suggests SEO used to be different.

This is why we canβt measure βsuccessβ by standard attribution.
Should you create "best X" articles to influence LLMs?
The short answer: it's complicated.
There has been some negative takes on this approach as of late, so I wanted to have @nickleroy.com on to respectfully debate when and how it might make sense to do.

Had a great chat with @suzzicks.bsky.social the other week about Googleβs 4S framework and how itβs killing long-tail searchβ¦on Google.
The long tail isnβt dead, itβs just moved to YouTube, TikTok & podcasts, etc.
This is the topic of this week's #SEOForLunch π

You bring up good (and valid) points. If nothing else, hopefully folks get from this post that TESTING is the best way to learn whatβs best for your site/situation.

Fair enough. I had thought the satire was clear, but to your point, it could have possibly just caused confusion.
I wanted to write about ~600 pixel in length, but didn't trust that the majority of SEOs know this.
I don't think I wrote that titles have to be short.
I didn't even get into Navboost, which we know G uses as a strong signal to determine ranking visibility.
Keyword + CTA is 9/10 times going to outperform

Are my posts Snarky? Absolutely.
Is there value? IMO, Yes.
