I thought I'd try a new year's resolution for once: avoid refined sugar in January.
So obviously when January 2nd rolled around my body decided to reject anything but pretzels and soft drinks for 5 days straight.

me: which spot do you mean?
4: Papa's spot. Where is it?
me: I don't know what spot you're talking about.
4: Papa's spot.

Whenever it's quiet in the house we know the baby probably found paper tissues and is feasting on them. For my 3 year old this used to be bebe Zartcreme. I wonder if that tells us something about their personalities.

My 3yo randomly told my partner they love them. So I cheekily asked if they love anyone else.
3yo: Grandma!
Me: And?
3yo: Grandpa!
Me: And?
3yo: [the baby]

All summer long we had wasps in our house. We even found them in our beds.
Then they were finally gone once October rolled around.
Since yesterday evening we had 2 live ones and 4 dead ones again!
