KS3 curriculum*

Is there still a place in the KS3 for a crafty type homework for example make a model cell? Interested to see people's opinions! I know what my view on the matter is!

Just finished episode 4. What can I say? I wish there'd been something like this 10+ years ago when I started teaching!!!

Yeah for sure! That's been the worst thing about the last few years of arrangements. It being "the last year of full equation sheets" for the last three years!

Decisions on changes to the assessment of mathematics, physics and combined science GCSEs in 2025, 2026 and 2027

Excellent news from Ofqual today regarding the use of equation sheets at GCSE for the next 3! years. Definitely feels like they wanted to just use full sheets for the remaining lifetime of the current specification. We shall see...!

Showed this to my sixth formers the other day, blew their minds!
