Like salt? Here is a photomicrograph of fluid inclusions in Permian salt that precipitated in an acid salt lake in Pangea. S I don't yet know the mineralogy of that rectangular crystal in the largest fluid inclusion, but I'll try to figure that out soon with laser Raman spectroscopy.

Hello, Bluesky folks! I'm back. Here's a photomicrograph of fluid inclusions in Permian halite for you. I don't yet know what that rectangular mineral is in the largest inclusion, but I am hoping to zap it soon in WVU's laser Raman spectroscopy lab to find out!
