Congratulations!

But I don't think its fair to put Craig Thompson's book on a shortlist when it's clearly taller than three of the other books combined.

Cover to the album Dick & Libby Halleman features a painting of the couple, their eyes just big shiny irises, no corneas.

Sometimes you buy the album for the singer, sometimes for the song, and sometimes for the scary dark eyes.

Comics pro-tip # whatever: If a convention gives you a plain black lanyard, keep that as part of your con kit. It's a better look than walking around as a billboard advertising whatever.

# whatever+1: Even then, take it off when on a panel. There may be photographs. Backwards ID is a bad look.

I so wish that I liked reading comics on the screen, because so many amazing PDF deals out there. (Perhaps some of my problem is that usually when I'm looking at comics on the screen, I'm -working-, looking for things that need fixing.)

You're not me. Consider this.

And that was not his first trans-focused episode, he did ones in 2015 and 2022 as well. That is not to say one could not imagine him doing more (that's about 1% of the episodes) but he has not done nothing (and he has covered the topic in other segments of the show as well.)

I've sometimes thought of this pen as being the very minimum amount of technology that you could take on the time machine 600 years in the past and be assumed a wizard.

One grandfather worked for Ma Bell (that’s slang for the phone company, back when there was only one); the other sold boys’ shirts, worked his way up to the head of sales for Donmoor.

Comics did anime-based books such as Robotech, but they were by North American creators, not translated manga. American books based on anime go at least as far back as Western’s Astro Boy, 1965.

Richardson’s out, Kitchen Sink no longer publishes, Shooter and McDuffie have left the mortal realm, leaving us with this vital question:
Who is the tallest person at a top position (publisher, president, editor in chief) in comics?
