I& have alters who are very close, but personally we don't generally have interest in integrating even partially. We like being individuals.
I know another system who has had alters merge before, because they wanted to be one, and also had alters split.

Gonna be real with y'all, I don't believe in the "Iranian Nuclear Weapons Program". The science has been done since the 1940s. There's tonnes and tonnes of Russian MUF floating around they could have obtained at any point.
If they wanted bombs instead of power plants, they'd already have the bombs.
